We Got The Grant!
Everyday Arts was just awarded a $21,250 grant from California Arts Council to launch our “Everyday Arts Neighborhood School” initiative, bringing culturally responsive arts opportunities to special education students in Los Angeles. We will build on the successes of our 2022-2023 “Neighborhood Project,” which established three Learning Sites at public schools across Los Angeles Unified School District. This new “Neighborhood School” initiative will allow us to build deeper connections at Huntington Drive Elementary School in order to create a caring, collaborative, and supportive school community for all students.
But that’s not all! We were awarded an additional $51,000 grant from California Arts Council to support us in implementing our 5-year Strategic Plan, enabling the organization to:
Develop Robust, Internal Systems for Effective Delivery
Identify and Engage Partners for Sustainability
Expand Programming through Compelling Communications
We’re incredibly grateful for California Arts Council’s commitment to the arts, education, and equity, and are honored to be partnering with them for a 4th consecutive year.
